Project Description

Stead Family Children’s Hospital is Iowa’s only comprehensive children’s hospital. When Stead’s current facility overlooking Kinnick Stadium opened in 2017, Acme worked alongside Gurtz Electric to build and install electrical systems throughout the new 14-story, 507-square-foot healthcare facility.

Work Performed

  • Division 26 – Electrical
  • Division 27 – Low Voltage
  • Division 28 – Technology/Access Control
  • Installation of distribution systems including normal, emergency, and critical power
  • Build-out of floors including patient, intensive care, operating, and medical staff rooms
